Florian brings together diverse people to jointly solve complex problems.
Prior to joining NTA as managing director in 2022, Florian worked in academia at the Heidelberg University and the University of Oslo. His research revolved around the relationship between the social and natural environment and ranged from economic field experiments in Tanzania and Chile to theoretical analysis of early warnings signals about tipping points.
Now he is excited to push the frontiers of sustainability in practice and to lead the role that the NTA plays in helping to conserve nature worldwide.
